I'm Laurel, a lover of imperfect people and authentic art.
Storytelling is a huge part of my identity. I always loved taking my parents' camera during field trips or rehearsals and showing off my shots when I got home. Somewhere along the way, that turned into taking headshots for friends during school, then working as a dude ranch photographer in Montana... and now I'm in New York working full-time as a published photographer in the broadway community.
At the core of my work, I want to capture who you are, as if no one was watching. Ultimately, the goal is to tell as many people's stories in as many places as possible; I'm ready to see the world and meet everyone in it. I also love getting to know my clients and being able to call them friends, so I hope you're ready for some fun while we shoot :)
If I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me producing new work, getting overly excited about plants, or sippin' on a big glass of Pinot Noir.
